• Goal: Identify how different ECM components influence proliferation

ECM QGel Design

• Multiple QGel 3D Matrices screened to identify best synthetic ECM and culture conditions

Result

• Proliferation of cell line H2052 was driven by QGel ECMs that did not contain integrin binding sites

 

Data – Results

 

Proliferation measured by metabolic activity over 28 days

For this cell line, and counter-intuitively, Integrin binding sites inhibit cell growth
