PROSTATE CANCER CELLS in 3D
Prostate cancer cells were encapsulated within degradable QGel™ matrix with RGD (REF 1001).
After a few days culture, single cells were already observed to grow into multicellular spheroids (Fig. 1).
MATERIALS
- Prostate cancer cells (PC3 mCherry cell line)
- Approx. cell seeding density: 500'000 cells/mL gel
- QGel™ MT 3D Matrix: degr. with RGD (REF 1001)
- Culture medium: DMEM + 10% FBS

- Encapsulating cells & casting gel discs
